I absolutely love the loaded function of that final comma–an Oxford necessity in setting off the too, but also an all-important pause, loading the gun of that ultimate explosion of doubled meaning of ” too soon” and the curtailed soon. Words are failing me, and that’s as it should be. The picture and the sentiment made my day.
