my old hands
most of the scars
It’s the half-remembered ones that worry me.
Andy, this haiku really speaks to me. I bear scars from nearly every adult year of my life, but every year the details of how they were acquired fade with the scars themselves. Very nicely done!
I’ve got a birthday coming up, so I’m not sure if I want to be positive about this or not. Ha! This is excellent.
