before the writing,
a libation of red wine,
each sip a prayer.

shooting star?
no, just a white moth
crossing the street light.

without irony,
my black cat curls up
on the mouse pad.
before the writing,
a libation of red wine,
each sip a prayer.
shooting star?
no, just a white moth
crossing the street light.
without irony,
my black cat curls up
on the mouse pad.
