haiku andy: the daily haiku actual postcard project 
Aw, hope everything went well and the healing has begun.
I should note… I wrote a version of this haiku in 2017. Someone recently asked me to send one of my cards to their sister, who is in chemo. That brought me back to my own cancer journey (detour might be more appropriate a term…) and so I pulled this back out. I could never get it to work to my satisfaction, but suddenly I found myself able to revise and (I hope) make it work.
